What is SafeVendor?
SafeVendor is an artificial intelligence server that monitors
usage statistics for thousands of advertisers worldwide. Each
day SafeVendor grows smarter as it analyzes millions of pieces of
incoming data. This data is then compared to look for instances
that might prove to be fraudulent. For security reasons and to
keep fraudulent vendors from trying to fool our systems, all
information on what we look for is strictly confidential.

Who can use SafeVendor?
Anyone who advertises online can use SafeVendor. SafeVendor can
be used for pay-per-click accounts, search engine marketing accounts
and unique traffic / guaranteed visitor programs.
How much does it cost?
The SafeVendor Service is free to anyone who wishes to insure their
online advertising campaigns are being delivered fairly. We do
not offer stats or an account to log into. This no only helps to
keep our server costs down, but it enables us to gather our data in a
faster manner. Instead you will be notified of fraudulent
activity the instance it is recognized by SafeVendor.
Additionally, you will receive a summary email once per week
regardless. Please note that each active account may receive an
email. If you have 5 accounts at the same email address, you may
receive 5 emails at the end of each week.
Why is it free?
SafeVendor is supported by advertising vendors directly.
Vendors who wish to join the SafeVendor program must go through a 60
day program to ensure that they have met the SafeVendor requirements.
Only those sites carrying the SafeVendor logo are certified by us.
However, this does not mean that other companies should not be
trusted. We track usage on over 30,000 advertising companies
worldwide. For legal reasons we can not name drop the companies
we work with, but we do cater to some of the largest search and
traffic companies on the internet. These companies allow us to

How do I get an account?
Simple. Go to our registration form
and enter your name, email address, referring source, URL and end
date. Once you submit this information, you will receive your
special code.
The javascript code is simple to install, but
you must have access to your site to do this. Please note that SafeVendor
will only work with companies that can install the code on their
pages. We are working on a solution for those of you who do not
have access to your site directly, but it is still in the works.
How many accounts can I have?
Unlimited. We provide tracking for hundreds of thousands of
advertisers all over the world. We recommend creating a new tag
for every promotion you do. Using the same tag could trigger our
fraud alert system and send you false reports.
How am I notified of Fraud?
You will be notified via email if one of your accounts is found to
have received a substantial amount of fraudulent traffic.
Substantial is 10% or more. This percentage helps us
from sending out false alarms to our users. If you are a victim
of fraud, more than likely it will be comprised of more than 10%
fraudulent traffic. After all, you would not want to be seen as
a repeat visitor when you visit your own site, then get sent a Fraud
Alert every time now, would you?
Where do I log in?
SafeVendor does not offer a log in area on our site. This was
done for 2 reasons.
1: Servers would be overloaded by people
checking their status every 5 minutes. It is a problem in the ad
industry, so we assumed it would be a problem here to.
2: Some companies want us gone.
Some companies want nothing more than to see us vanish. Simply
put this is because we have caught them in the game of defrauding
customers and they want revenge. Therefore the only access from
the web to our databases is through our in-house servers. Not
even our President could access our database from anywhere other then
our offices.
